Flex 3401 or Rupes 21?

ill proll get a rupes 21, the carbon fiber handle sold me.. jk lol:)

I have a PC and a Rupes. The otherday I was working on my car with the PC because i prefer working with 5.5" pads over the 6.5" that I currently have on my Rupes. After a little while the polish i was working with caked up and I didn't have any more pads to keep working with the PC so i busted out the Rupes. It wasn't until that very moment that I realized how damn smooth that machine is. I never tried using one right after the other but once I did, wow, Rupes is smooth. If anyone has a rupes that is vibrating then something is loose or not right. The machine is a dream.

The smoothness is amazing and helps so much with fatigue. Also, the piercing noise that my pc creates is enough to wanna make me cringe. The rupes is so much quieter.

The Rupes is easy to use, the flex has a learning curve and it may be hard to control after owning a Rupes.

Also I would by the Rupes 15. The amount of control is amazing. It takes a little longer then the 21 but you can hit every section of the car without a problem using the 5.5 pads.

Not going to lie, I've tested out both machines and I keep hearing learning curve. Not that I am saying there might not be one. In my experience, I felt the PC had a strong learning curve. Darn thing takes a long time. I told this to Michael Stoops. He just shook his head.

I am used to power and with that I had to always be gentle. The Rupes and Flex both got the job done and both were easy to use. If asked to point something different about the Flex. I would say "it spins backwards"

The Rupes, I am still not sure what there is bad to say about it. The only thing I can think of is, I have never corrected an entire car with a Rupes.

I use a Rupes 21es with 5.5 inch pads and I agree it's very easy to use. Pleasantly so.
