FLEX Announcement for SEMA - Can You Guess What it is?

It's a 3" Rotary in a traditional DA style body. 110% sure on that

Then we should call it

Flex MiniMe:dblthumb2:

Although eliminator still works too. Eliminates the need to compound and polish by hand. It eliminates the need to switch backing plates. It still eliminates scratches and swirls. Eliminates people buying little machines from the competition. Mighty Mini or Mighty mini eliminator.

It seems like they are going to have to choose soon. They are going to release it in November. They still have to design the packaging, and wait to get the packaging from wherever they order it from...

Flex Pocket/Petite/Mini etc. If it is the smaller 3" rotary looking tool, could use a variation on the PE-14, like PT for petite. Flex PTi is my choice.

(quoting myself) It's a Porter Cable-style Flex machine, gear-driven. The backing plates will be switchable between 3-5.5" at least...

A name for it, Flex-PC, but PC must mean something else than Porter Cable hahha, like Professional Cutting.

Flex-PC, it'll describe the machine and stick to it!, grab your Flex-PC and go!

Best wishes.

Another guess: A gear driven mini DA the size of the GG3 offering dual mode action like the Makita DA. On one setting a free floating spindle DA so you can dampsand affected paint with 3" sandpaper. Flip the switch to engage the gear driven portion and equip the machine with 3" pads to remove the sanding marks. After its been polished to perfection flip the switch again, attach a finishing pad, and apply your favorite LSP.

You could call it the Flex XC-007 VRG. :props:

Wouldn't that be a cool idea! It's defiantly a mini DA - I'm sticking with my first name suggestions of "Flex Elf" or Flex "X-Elf" - both names suggest a smaller tool and they're a play on the Flex name ;)

Either way, I can't wait to check-out this new Flex baby at SEMA!! :dblthumb2:

They have me on pins and needles! Can't they announce it already!

How about Flexxing or Flexxed LOL!

my guess is a small DA similiar to the GG3 and rupes lhr75...

I think it's a new DA with 25 or 27 millimeter throw. I would suggest the following name: Flex DA - Duetto 25 or 27.

A 27mm throw? Would you just put it on the center of the hood and let it cover the entire panel
