Get yours here!

FLEX PXE 80 12-EC KIT aka the PiXiE

FLEX XCE 8-125 18.0 Polisher aka the CBEAST!

:)

Looks like I'm getting 2 new polishers soon. Thank you for the update Mike.

Aaargh! I neeeeeeed them! :buffing:

What’s the chances you can sneak one of each under your desk until we get there with money in hand Mike???

Bet these sell like hotcakes!!!

Aaryn NZ. :dblthumb2:

This would have been a much better haul for Henry,Jimmy, and Tommy instead of that small time Lufthansa nonsense

Just to note,

I walked out to the warehouse where the CBEASTs are located and they are almost gone.

Still some PiXiEs on the shelf but they are going fast too.

Have not heard when the next shipment will be sent. Before I leave I'll take a picture of what's left on the shelves.

If you snooze.... you lose....

:)

I have had a CBEAST on order since 29 July and mine hasn't been shipped yet. My PXE has been shipped so I'm thinking the first shipment only contained kits and not bare tools since that is what I ordered seeing as I already have 6 of the 18V batteries.

When I walked by the FLEX section around lunch today, here's what was left...

I count 9 CBEASTS

That's a single row of PiXiEs - there's not another row of boxes behind it.

It's almost 4:00pm as I type, not sure what's left now.

Will check on Monday.

:)

Those must be the CBEAST kits and not the bare tools. Wish they would have sent a few bare tools with the kits. Oh well they will be here soon enough

Beautiful!! I pre ordered the Pixie and looking forward to buying the CBeast soon!

Instill don't get why they specd it less than the original 3401..should of matched the specs or made it better...

How about his idea,

The engineers actually know what they are doing.

They've made changes to the head unit to accommodate FEEDBACK from real-world users.

  • The handle has been removed. No handle means no handle to break off.
  • The physical design of the head unit is changed and along with the changes the tool is now SMOOTHER and QUIETER.

There's probably other things too but the above is what I can remember from Chris Metcalf.

:dunno:

Yeah I get all that
But why make it correct slower is what I. Was asking
Same mm offset, sams OPM, less RPM = slower correction speed
Perhaps to make more smoother to be more enjoyable for end user?

The other improvements were needed for sure
Still wish they didn't go with the 3 mounting point backing ate system...so hopefully version 3 of that actually fixed the issue, or it'll look bad for them once again

Yeah I get all that

Have you ever used the new FLEX 3401?

You're go-to is the Makita PO5000C correct?

It works like a charm.

I've pushed the new backing plate and tool to the max and ZERO problems.

Why is it such a bad thing for a detailer, or enthusiast, to share their opinion about a brand or product?

That is the great thing about having options, different strokes for different folks.

No one is saying you shouldn't express your opinion.
I'm glad both of yall discussing it.

I'm reading and learning

Both the PXE and CBEAST are beautiful, sucks the batteries are so expensive. You can typically get a 2 pack of Dewalt, Makita or Milwuakee batteries @ Home Depot for $99. $99 for a single 2.5ah 12v or the CBEAST battery is hard to swallow. I understand the tool's very high quality so the price of that makes sense to me. But to be twice as expensive with the batteries is rough imho. *AND* they don't have a dual battery charger. If I get both tools I'll probably have 2-3 batteries for each. Flex, make a dual slot charger! or even a quad? lol
