Flex backing plate size

The flex is advertised with a 6 inch backing plate--I thought it
changed to a 5 1/2.

Please let me know before I make my purchase.

looks like a six to me with the amount of room left around the pad, but ill put a tape to it when i get home

It's advertised as 6" but really measures around 5.75" IIRC.

I can tell you this a 5.5 inch pad will fit perfect with this backing plate, so even though Flex says 6" its really a hair over 5.5

Well, out of curiosity, I went ahead and measured the backing plate of the Flex and it is exactly 5.5 inches.:righton:
