Flex CBeast and Audi RS 5

Pictures didn't load.

OK...got one in.

Keeps telling me my pics are too big...

Will mess around and see if I can get it smaller...

Trying to get pictures resized.

Got it here at Autogeek.

This is the 2 year ceramic by BlackFire.

Really works well! Easy to apply and wipe off.

The gloss and the glassy look is off the charts.

I also used BF coating on a few vehicles. I did a small SUV (sisters) last September, still holding up nice. She washes it monthly n does top it every 4 months with a SiO2

Very nice work. Blue looks outstanding now. Welcome to the Flex Club

Still kicking and cranking out projects! Just got me cordless CBeast. Second time I’ve used it and love it! Not going back to free Spinning DA.

Question, which pads are those you used? Blue Rupes, and I see a few yellow also. The orange pads?
Just unboxed my CBEAST and will use it soon. Pads are the real issue to pick what works best.

Have ton of Rupes Blue, white and yellow pads. Works great.

Orange pads are the Redlines from McKee's. Supposed to be the largest diameter pads at 5.75. Found that Rupes yellow is touch larger diameter wise than the redlines. And it is kinda soft too. And it get bit softer as it warms up. These are polishing pads.

Reason I used the redlines on the Audi is that I wanted to see if the pads were up to the task on these Audis' hard paint and force rotation polisher. It did ok. Used a couple of the yellow and it felt great.

The yellow Rupes pads is a touch larger diameter wise, much thicker and is stiffer and harder pads. Not soft at all. I like that kind of feel from a polishing pad.

I still need to check out the Hybrid force pads.

After couple of cars with the CBeast---Believe thicker and harder pads works much better on force rotation.

That's where I am in this process---I may change my tune once I get some miles on the Flex and with different pads.

I agree with you Tom on the Rupes pads. I have used them on my 3401 and really like them. Good results, they seem to wear faster on forced rotation but I'm probably pushing a little too hard.

Mine wears out too on Rupes MK II polisher!

The Velcro backing on the yellow pads tends to separate around the edges after many uses.

The white ones separates bit faster than the yellow. Maybe I just use them more. Hard to tell! Grin...

And wash them in washing machine too!

Playing around with resizing. Hope it works better!
