Flex-Foam HD Rotary Backing Plate

I've only seen a 3" and 5" offered for sale and I have the 3". Only had a chance to try it out with my flex 3403 on one hood so far . Too early to say much about it yet.
 
Funny you mention this BP Tad,I just got done placing an order for it.
We'll see how it works.
 
Tad, I have one and I think it works quite well. I mostly use 6.5'' pads on my rotary, so I end up using the Meg's W66 much more often than the Flex-Foam HD.
 
Plus#1 on the W66 Dana turned my onto that backing plate . That and the 3M UK backing plates are awesome . I have the 3m red/ Yellow foam getting ready to order the Red/ Gray foam one from P.P.D.S. Since the are only available in the UK Auto Geek doesn't carry them . To bad they are awesome

What are these uk pads and where is P.P.D.S, it will not come up on google.

PPDS is a small store that has great prices and hard to find items . You have to know the owner or else he won't even talk too you . The UK Backing Plates you have to do a google search for them 3M Uk backing plates .

Bill if that is the SOLO, I put mine on today with the Constant Pressure Pads that were VIP. It is very flexible and an awesome combo.
 
Tad, as you know I was waiting on the Optimum foam bp since everyone else either charged 4 times as much or made the wrong size. I accidentally got the 5" with my rotary :(

Anyway, those foam bp are the only way to go with a rotary.

Odd because when I looked on P.P.D.S., Google came up. Guess Google isn't as big as I thought after all and P.P.D.S. is bigger!
