Flex Handle

I see this handle (for my 3401) has a black disc type cover that turns to expose two metal contacts?
Anybody able to tell me what these are about? I saw nothing in literature.

Hmmm... well I believe you but don't understand... I bought the extra side handle. the "softie" red one with the dicc at the point where you screw it in. How would these be for contacts please? What procedure is there that might give me a better clue?

Okay, I found that this handle is also used for various angle grinders and that the pins lock into one of them. I'll be calling Powerhouse to confirm.

Are you asking how to install the handle?
 
No, FLEX Grip Side Handle has a black round cover at the end of threads where the handle screws into the Flex. The black cover turns to expose two pins that I didn't know what were used for. I've been told they are to lock into an angle grinder. I haven't had time to call the Powerhouse yet and to hear they're for contacts would require a better explanation 'cause I have these two infos now - contacts and grinder, so...
