FLEX Hybrid Polishers?

With FLEX about to release their new cordless orbital and rotary polishers it's too bad they didn’t go the Festool route and provide a cord/cordless hybrid solution where in place of the battery pack goes a transformer and cord so you can run the polisher either way. Missed opportunity?

Hmmm, fair point. I never gave that a thought to be honest but you could be right - missed opportunity. Still gonna spend my hard earned on the cordless Flex polishers when they are released. :buffing:

In my mind, a definite missed opportunity. I am wondering if Flex is going to be puttting the brushless motors into the corded versions of the 3401, PE14-2, and PE8 when they revise them.

FLEX could potentially offer this as an accessory in the future (provided the engineering of the production model allows for such an accessory). I think it would be an accessory well worth it.
