I got the new flex yesterday for my b-day, yaaaahoooo! I spent about 4 hours with it today removing oxidation and polishing on the motorhome. Here is a little history about my detailing/buffing previous experience: There isn't any. This thing is the bomb! There was no learning curve. This tool is super easy to use if you have watched any of the instruction videos on this website. I used meguiars 49 oxidation remover for boats/RV with meg maroon cutting pad and LC yellow cutting pad. I couldn't tell much of a difference between the pads. They both required frequent cleaning with a towel to remove the crud build up. I was disappointed in the LC pad. While I was cleaning it in the sink, it separated from the hook and loop pad that was glued to it. I look forward to getting to know the flex a little better and putting it to work on the cars and boat. Even though I can't compare the flex to the other da's, I highly recommend it. This thing is great.:dblthumb2:

I just cleaned up a dried out chalky looking white shuttle bus and the flex was the tool for the job for sure. I put my flex through the ultimate torture test in polishing an all aluminum Grumman Olson delivery truck that surely would have killed any of my other polishers, I believe even my rotary would have melted down on that truck. The Flex 3401 is a definite bulldozer of a machine.

Another satisfied customer! Congratulations on the 3401 :dblthumb2:
