Flex or Rupes?

There both great machines, the Rupes , especially you coming from the porter cable will be more used to using.

However I love both and still use both polishers on every correction I do.

I have both as well as several rotary machines. They all have their uses and I reach for each one as the task requires. It will be your call,on which one you like most but I do find myself using the rotaries more & more especially since you can get smaller backing plates now and use smaller pads in tight areas. I might give the Rupes the edge by a little if I had to only pick one.

I'm selling my Flex if you want to buy it. Never dropped, works like a charm. I am getting the newest Mark 2 Rupes.

I like the Flex because it just keeps going no matter the pressure which means it corrects very hard paint as well as bad condition paint much better than your standard Rupes which also slows down on corners and uneven panels. The Flex just keeps going on those areas.
