Hi Mike,

Can you use the Flex PE14-2-150 and Nanoskin autoscrub 4" pad on a car to decontaminate or do you have to use the Nanoskin pads wtih a DA polisher?

Thanks :)

Nanoskin Autoscrub pads are for DA/Random orbit use only!

From Nanoskin's Website:

DIRECTIONS:

Use ONLY on clean, cool paint and out of direct sunlight. DO NOT work on the surface below 55°F and over 144°F. Please use in an inconspicuous place for the first time in case of unexpected adverse effects on paint surface.

Thoroughly wash vehicle free of dust, sand, and dirt.
Dilute GLIDE to desired strength. (16 Oz. makes 1 Gal. RTU.)
Mist sufficient GLIDE onto the surface evenly.
Polish the surface with dual action orbital polisher using light pressure (Low Speed).
Wipe off residue with clean dry microfiber towel.
NOTE: Using with 6” soft-edge DA pad is highly recommended.

Sufficient lubrication is crucial to the AUTOSCRUB application.

Plain water is NOT an adequate lubricant.

DO NOT use with rotary polisher.

AUTOSCRUB is not solvent resistant.

Remove tar & grease before application

DA use only. Gear driven or free spinning design.

I personally prefer to use them with the 3401 as the FLEX wont bog down under heavy contamination.

My guess would be that if you were to use a Nanoskin pad on a rotary buffer it would do a great job of removing contaminants off the paint and would also mar the heck out of it.

Stick with an orbital polisher.

Hahaha. No worries Miek I don't want to mar the paint. Will keep on doing it by hand until I can my hands on the Flex 3401.
