Hey all, Just wanted to ask if there was any chance that the Flex PE8 would be avaliable to australian residents in the future?

Thanks

Even if they're not currently (pun intended) available...

There are 110-120/220-240 "step-up/step-down" voltage transformers that can be used to provide the proper power.

It's certainly a possibility. Bob E. from FLEX will be here for Detail Fest in a couple weeks...I'll bring this up to him. :dblthumb2:

That would be super if you could, I know a few guys who would be very keen if it was to happen :)

Bob, if you start running your tools on 240V, you'll never go back, believe me.

Interesting.

Where does one find such a device Bob?

Very keen to see where this goes as PE14 doesn't work in New Zealand but the 3401 does. A real shame as I have recently purchased the PE14, kindly signed by Mike Phillips & Nick Rutter at Autogeek & I can't use it.

Bob, if you read this, whats the chances i'd find one of these voltage transformers down here & would it work for me?

Aaryn NZ. :xyxthumbs:
