Flex Visit - Bob Eichelberg visits Bob McKee

who ever knew that some new polishers, i mean polisher would be coming out? :D

Subscribed! 2015 SEMA is going to be the year of game changers :)

Just to note, I'll start a brand new thread for the pictures and write-up for the item Bob's hiding under the microfiber towel.

I'll bump this thread so if you're "subscribed" to this thread you will get an e-mail notification. I'm sure you will recognize the thread by the title however. :D

I'll be posting this to my Facebook page, Instagram and tweeting it too.

We just boarded our flight to Las Vegas, we being Jason, Yancy, Nick and me.

SEMA here we come!!!!

:dblthumb2:

Im still holding out on a gear driven mini DA that will accept a 3" pad.

+1

I really want a mini polisher for the small areas without going down the rotary(Kompakt) route.

Only two brands available here - flex and rupes (at inflated prices). If this is a mini Flex, i'm in!!:xyxthumbs:

You the man! :xyxthumbs:

From the shape under the MF towel it looks like a new DA from flex. I'm not sure what is the characterstics of this new DA, but we are very close to Mike write up and SEMA. However, I can see the completion is very aggressive this year.

As a consumer/Flex owner. Let me say this. If you have a new product in development with a launch date in mind, let everyone know what is coming. This whole "Secret Sema Launch" crap is tired. I would have waited for a Flex Long Throw if that's what it is, but I bought a Boss instead, and so did thousands of other people. Just saying.

Looks like a new rotary to me.

On a side note.

I know this photo wasn't taken to be super-duper particular, but take a look at the first picture Mike showed in this thread. Look at how in focus Bob appears to be. Then increase the size of the photo and look to Bob's left at the safety glasses and pad brushes. Don't get dizzy!

Now I know why a lot of people like to use a tri-pod when taking photo's. Had I not seen those items hanging to Bob's left I'd have guessed that picture to be in total focus...unless they were having an earthquake.

Flex3401 with a 21 throw. If it is wow.

If its forced rotation I don't think a 21mm throw is ideal.

As it can cause potential damage to edges mirrors, etc

The 3401 can become a little gripy on certain paints let alone a 21mm forced rotation one. I just don't think it's economic.

I could be wrong just my opinion
