Flex XCE 10 8 125 backing plates? Need help

I’m planning on buying the Flex XCE.

Can I use the different size backing plates that are available for the Flex 3401 on the Flex XCE?

Please advice.

Mike Phillips says leave the stock 5" backing plate, but I believe the FINISHER backing plate fits.

I could stand corrected but I think he recommended NOT to use the 6" on the cordless one but recommended it for the corded version
