Flexzilla Garden Hose

I don’t have a Flexzilla water hose but I do have Flexzilla air hoses for my air compressors and they’ve been great. About a year ago I bought the GG and it has been the nicest/best water hose I’ve ever owned.

Had my flexzilla water hoses for a few years now. One is mostly black from I’m guessing mildew doesn’t stink and doesn’t come off on your hands. My mother in laws is the same way. My other one looks normal maybe bough the same year maybe a year apart don’t remember. Work well though better than a heavy ass rubber hose or a crappy fake no kink vinyl hose that folds in spots after a use or two

Use the air hoses at work too. Other than the color getting dirty in a day or two work well till the fitting that’s crimped on eventually pulls out or drop something heavy and sharp enough on it accidentally to cut them.

I also went with ZeroG and love it so far. I happened to see one at lowes and they looked to be made well so I tried it. I keep mine in a 5 gallon pail and used it all winter here in NH without a problem. I like the fact that it fits in a pail with my ryobi pressure washer sitting on top. I makes my setup easy to carry during the winter months.

Really is no trouble. Doesn't take any longer then doing it any other way. You can coil it on the ground and then hang it.
Nothing drives me crazy like hose kinks or cords that get a mess when you try to use them.

Amen to the kinks on cords and hoses.

Thanks for the input. I had so many recommendations for the flexzilla, I ordered one.
I decided against the hose reel and got a "reel" that I will justloop over loosely I will mount to the house. I feel that's better than coiling it inthe dirt and rocks.

Yeah, and see what happens when you leave an aluminum fitting on a brass hose bib in a water environment.

Would the same apply to my Flexzilla having a brass shut off valve attached to it? What’ll happen?

Mine corroded together and I had to cut the end off & buy a replacement because the aluminum stripped when I tried to force it off to put freeze protection on the bib. (Had to replace the bib too)

I like the looks of the zero-g. I saw them at Walmart and they look like they are well made. Glad to hear it works so well. I might go with the zero-g over the Flexzilla.

I believe the Zero Gs at Walmart are 1/2" diameter while those at Lowe's are 5/8". I could be wrong, but check it out.

If your hose ends are aluminum, then eventually yes.

If you remove the shut off periodically, and wipe both down with something like WD-40, then no.

The two dissimilar metals will react with each other in the water/minerals/salt and corrode together. And I mean solidly.

Note to self: Don’t remove my brass shut off valve unless I’m looking to open up a can of worms. Check ✔️

The ratings on Amazon are less than stellar. I personally don't buy anything with that low of a rating and hundreds of reviews.
