Florida Weather

Thursday's forecast for Powell, TN: Highs in the low 30's, 1" to 3" of snow expected.

Would somebody please tell Al Gore to step outside briefly?

Good Lord, better shut the state down. Otherwise, you're going to have 19 million people crashing into each other.

The only good snow we got when I was in Florida was in March of '93. Several inches stuck until around lunch. That was a fun day.

If it rains to hard here they want to shut down the state.We had 10" of rain last week .Were still getting in flood cars for some reason people think cars can go swimming.And most of them they all ready have totaled.I had 16 of them.From 2006 right up too 2010 with 2000 miles
 
The coldest it got In South Florida (a hour south from AG about 40 miles) it was 33 at 630am. My pool this afternoon read 38. I have been workin in Key Biscane right on the water and the warmest it got was 45 50.
 
Ya I heard it was suppose to rain Thursday and Friday and around the freezing point. But its to humid for it to snow. Anyways i lived in Barrie,ON last year it was -30C almost everyday. but let me tell you when it 30 or 40 outside in FL it seems much cooled from all the humidity in the air.

On the other hand I just got home from FAU hockey practice and it was 50 outside so it might be warming up

I know. When It got up to -10C in Barrie we took off the jeckets and it seemed warm lol
 
We just returned from Orlando tonight. I must say to our friends down south, you all have to man up. Walking through town and seeing grown men with mittens and hats on. It was 45-50 degrees!! I was in shorts and a sweatshirt when it hit 55. It did provide for plenty of humor for the family on vacation though. When my 4 year old was tougher than the locals, and started telling them that, it was funny :) Hope it warms up for all soon!
 
I hear u. I lieved most of my life in the cold. What we have now is nothing compaired to a real winter. But most people in FL done know what cold is lol
 
Yeah it's been pretty nippy. I was in Atlanta yesterday and night and it was pretty cool up there. Just because I live 25 miles from the Florida line doesn't mean I can't some cold weather. I have a nice thick layer of insulation built in lol

+1 it was i high of 74 in Hermosa Beach today :dblthumb2:
 
Well, it was in the high 30s last night and it had been a week and a half since I last washed my car. Lots of brake dust, some bugs, and quite a bit of dirt/dust on the paint. Needless to say, I broke out the halogens and got to work and it was not pleasant by any means. The cold was painful, but at least I can say my car is clean!
 
I just had to jump into the discussion. Please feel free to add your own.

Things those in cold states say during winter months. !!!!

(1.) If its + 32 degrees. We are having a heat wave.

(2.) When is the January thaw. ??

(3.) It starts staying lighter after 5 PM. during the day.

(4.) We have only (how many days) till Spring.

(5.) Is it warm enough outside to wash the salt off.

Think Spring to All !!!! :) :)
