Florida Weather

I just had to jump into the discussion. Please feel free to add your own.

Things those in cold states say during winter months. !!!!

(1.) If its + 32 degrees. We are having a heat wave.

(2.) When is the January thaw. ??

(3.) It starts staying lighter after 5 PM. during the day.

(4.) We have only (how many days) till Spring.

(5.) Is it warm enough outside to wash the salt off.

Think Spring to All !!!! :) :)

8" snow yesterday, car covered in salt... :detailer:
Weatherman says upper 30's by mid week, so I may take a vacation day to rinse, then ONR wash.

Tonight while heading out I called my staff to the front door and said "Look at the horizon." It's still light out ! Woo hoo!!!Im the MAN

Tonight I'm putting together the next order and making my cabin fever worse all at the same time, aaaahhh multitasking is so much fun.

6. Don't eat the yellow snow.

7. That #$%^&* plow just came by and buried the driveway!

8. Honey, is the driveway that salty or is it snowing again?

9. (Said to the children): Are you heating the outside, SHUT THE DOOR!!

I guess AL GORE and the rest of his liberal croanies will have to find a new cause - Because they sure can't talk about Global warming this year !

Forecast says possible snow flurries this weekend in Florida! Wowzers! I know it won't really snow as it will melt too quickly, but it would be very cool to see how Floridians reacted.

It has not gotting down to freezing where I live yet but it sounds like it might both Sunday and Monday nights. My wife is a plant nut and brought all of her plants inside the house. She has hundreds of plants so they're everywhere. She covered up a lot of her plant that are in the ground. I'm ready to move south but running out of real estate in the US. In southwest Florida have had the coldest consecutive days in 83 years.

It has been snowy and icy here in North Ga since yesterday morning.
Ice froze on the roads, made getting home fun last night. Travel was a mess this morning.

Wind chill was 6°F this morning when I woke up...
That's nothing to a lot of you northerners - but remember, this is Georgia we're talking about here!

Can't wait for 40° next week!

Unless there's record breaking heat waves this summer! So don't jinx it.

-14? That's rough- Stay safe up there and drive careful!

Well, woke up this morning and the wife comes and tells me to come outside. Not exactly the type of snow that our friends more north are used to, but sure enough, snowing (maybe more like sleeting) in my back yard. Florida is too humid for it to stick on the ground, but it was kind of cool to go out and look up and see it at least falling. We collected some and put it into the freezer for the hell of it. Fun times today. The rain, snow, sleet, whatever the hell you want to call it has not stopped all morning here in Orlando. It will be an interesting driving day.

Ohh I am jealous, went outside to walk the dog and it was cold as could be and raining, dog must learn to walk himself!

I laugh every time I see the weather for you Floridians. Enjoy!

LOL

it was 24-29* here today in atl. And dropping down into the teens tonight.

Well, we've gotten 4 - 6 inches over the past 2 days. Very cold, very yucky. Here's a pic of my car taken earlier today, though I've gotten most of the snow off since then:

This is what happens when you get snow and freezing rain together. Anybody care for a Cierasicle?
