Well, yesterday was a 1st.

Some things I have bought for auto detailing I don't use at all for auto detailing.
Dupray Steamer for auto's is not my thing but it does make a great hardwood flooring cleaner.

For the last decade, car mats manufacturers are so much nicer (TuxMats), I haven't had a need to use the carpet cleaner at all for car mats.

Yesterday, I was in a pinch to sort of a Wasp Nest and swarms of wasps....
Not knowing directly where it was, it was somewhat pointless to hire a pro as the nest itself was not easily identifiable on location.
In google, soapy water does kill them or somewhat kills them so this is my 1st time using my Foam Cannon for something other than auto care
I drenched it heavily and while it's too early to tell if the nest and all has been dealt with, there is alot less (zero swarms)observed and many stragglers flying about.

I'm glad that worked out. Just a warning, and I presume this was a yellow-jacket nest in a hole somewhere (they like to nest in holes in the ground, wall cavities, etc.), the best time to do this is at night, when all the residents are in the nest. When you do it during the day, sometimes those stragglers think they are in the wrong place and try to find another "hole in the wall" to get into, and can wind up in other places in your house. Don't ask me how I know. I like to find the entrance and use insecticide dust at night (better than liquid because sometimes the nest is far away from the entrance hole), just make sure you aren't underneath the entrance, because they will drop out angry on their way to dying.

Many, many moons ago when I first got into lawn care I followed a YouTuber that would be the lawn care equivalent of Pan the Advertiser. Following his sage advice, I bought the recommended hose end sprayer that was anything but precise and accurate. The micronutrients I sprayed on my lawn had a nice dose of iron and when I sprayed near my house some of the liquid stained my vinyl siding. For years I tried everything to get it off and even when my house was professionally cleaned that did nothing. After using iron remover on a car the brilliant idea of using it on my siding popped in my head and it worked beautifully.

Speaking specifically of foam cannons, I use mine to clean out my garbage bins. I put them on their side, load up the cannon with a 50/50 mixture of SuperClean and go to town. I follow up with a bleach cleaner in the cannon and they're as good as almost new.

Bleach.....I don't think I would use it in a foam cannon.
Not sure if has any effect on the dip tube.
During the height of covid, I cannot recall but I kinda/sorta recall bleach killing my sprayer heads and I was out of them for quite some time
A local fellow forum member who was in the Janitorial business was nice enough to offer to hook me up....as even then, sprayers were so OOS

Ha, interesting comment regarding the -iron-. Eon's ago, gardening related, cheated iron etched some marble....Not that it even on my radar that it could

I did the exact same thing in Hawaii, dialed the nozzle for a stream instead of a fan and let them have it

Killed them dead

I had previously bought a super soaker that I filled with soapy water (Dawn) but the seals didn't last any time at all

I found these pictures, I must have knocked the nest completely down

I did this on more than one occasion and it sure worked

I did learn to do it at late dusk as Setec said

Wasp. It didn't appear ground based - privacy *garden* wall and I noticed there was a huge swarm with activity flying in/out.
Since I could not easily ID the nest location, I did the blanket approach with the cannon just due to that
Never have used it for such an application, but one day after and inspection, it appears to have done it.
I also did use a 15 foot lance and pressure washer the heck out of the canopy of this area as well post soap treatment.

Fill it with Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo and spray all the kids in the neighborhood (in the summer time.)
