Foam Cannon?? Need Advice

I ordered the pressure washer foam cannon from Justin. Will the Meguir's NXT car wash soap give me shaving cream type results?? I just bought a jug of it and I hope it will work!
 
If you use about 4 oz. then yes. I believe Justin uses an ounce of Dawn with 2 oz. of another car soap to get those suds. 2 oz. of CG Citrus wash n gloss works a lot better then Meg's. I dont like using Dawn on cars.
 
ya i used all of the meg. ovc soaps and they all seemed to foam
 
I would think you would get good foam out of it. I have used Meg's Gold Class in my AG Foam Gun and it made plenty of foam.

You might email or PM Justin. I know in the early days of his posts he used Meg's NXT all the time. Course that was before the Foam Gun.
 
So will I get shaving cream results with the NXT or is it necessary to purchase the CG-CW&G. Or is there another product that will boost the NXT??
 
Heres a picture of CG CW&G 2 oz. and 30 oz. of water. Far more foam then 2 oz. of NXT will give you.

I know. I love CG Citrus Wash-n-Gloss myself! Very cost efficient too.

Ill tell you what. Ill wash a car tomorrow with 4 oz. of NXT in the foam cannon and take pictures for comparison. The bottle is 32 oz. so that would be 28oz of water with 4 oz. of soap.

But you only have to use 2 oz. of CG, most cost effective. Actually, 1 oz. works great too.
 
Hey, is that a Bentley Continental GT under all that foam? Lord, but that's a beautiful car.

Looking forward to the comparison, as I think I might purchase some CG CW&G here soon for an event I have coming up.

Will CG strip the LSP off your car?

I would imagine any soap will strip your lsp to some extent when you:

A) Increase the ratio of soap used
B) Increase dwell time

That's not based on data but just theory

I have seen more than one post outside AG where the Citrus Wash can especially on waxes more than a sealant.
 
I only use CG on customer cars that are getting the full treatment. So yes.

I use CG and love it but the only way I ever put that much foam, of any brand, on is if the car is getting the full treatment and I want to strip it.
