Foam Cannon Question!

Hello all! Okay, I got a foam cannon and a small pressure washer. The cannon I got right here at AG, the washer is a Karcher K2.300. A couple weeks ago we had nice weather on a Friday here in Michigan, I used my new toys. After setting everything up, I hooked up the cannon, after a few minor adjustments. Nothing but nice thick foam was flying. I was able to foam the entire car, and still had a little over 1/4 of the bottle leftover. I keep the adjustments the same, never touched them.

Fast forward to this past Monday. My car was a mess from a wet nasty drive back to the Metro Detroit area, so after I got home from work Monday morning, spring is in the air, and I had the itch loaded up the cannon and was ready to go to town. Started with the rear section of the car. The foam was coming out nice, as I moved the rear drivers side, I noticed about 3/4 of the solution was already gone, and the sides of the bottle were collapsing.

So my questions.
1. Where do you have your flow adjustment set?
2. Where do you have your spray adjustment set?

Also, I used about 3oz of Hyperwash both times.
Any insight would be appreciated!

I end up having to readjust my settings every time I use my foam cannon. I'm not sure what it is, but it never seems the same each time I break it out. I usually end up with having the top knob fully open and keep it a wide fan. It's hard to play with the adjustments because you end up using half your product dialing it in. If I have any left over after foaming the entire truck I will play with the settings again.

How many times have you used the unit?

Also, after use it is recommended to flush pure water through the cannon to remove any soap residue. The strainer could be clogged causing the symptoms you are experiencing.

BTW, I have the same cannon and a Kärcher K2 as well.

So my questions.

1. I have the knob turned a 1/4-1/2 just off fully closed.
2. I have it set to get about a 4-6" fan just off the front of the cannon. See below

Thanks for the replies. I have used them twice now.

@Mike- Yes sir, I did flush it both times by taking the bottle off and spraying clean water thru for about a minute or so.

I probably will use it again soon and will try readjusting, and for sure try around what Mike recommended. Thanks again!
