As I was power washing under the car before, the UPS guy dropped off the foam cannon!!!
I was testing with Meg gold class wash and first time there wasn't much foam at all. I added more soap and it was better. How much Gold class soap do you put in that 64 ounce bottle?

Less PA give more soap right? lol

I have a few picture for people who are on the fence about buying one. I say to GET IT makes washing car fun again. :)

Here are a few pics to show you an idea of how it works.

Enjoy guys!

Slick try some duragloss 901 in that foam cannon..........way more foam than megs!

Thanks going look into it. If possible want something cheap that produce lots of foam. Today I also bought a used Makita, it was mad dirty. I cleaned it up and it looks alright now. Will most some pics later of it.
Got it for 100 used with no bp, but came with a large brush. Going need to do some shopping for bp and some pads. What would you guys suggest for Makita? Size of bp and pads?

Something isn't adjusted correctly.

I have this foam cannon;
Cam Spray - 527100 - Foamer Attachment | Every Pressure Washer
The Cam Spray foam cannon.
With 1oz of cheapo Costco automotive soap (Gold Class) I was covering the car with foam so thick that you couldn't see the paint color through it. And 1oz was enough to cover a Ford explorer twice.
By using the foam cannon I am using about a fifth the soap I used to use washing a full size car. Plus by having the pressure washer out i was also cutting way down on water usage.

So I would suggest that you try adjusting the pressure and draw adjusting knobs until you get a much thicker foam.

I tried both and same results. Maybe someone from AG can step in and help me.

i got the same one and it blows cant get it to foam its a pice of ---- ya i tryed all the diff ways to set it and still no good dont by this

Anyone can please explain how to get Maximum foam? I'm using Kracher 1550 psi electric power washer.

I believe I have the same model that you are using. Model K2.28?? I use Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Clear in mine and it foams like a champ. Other than using the right soap and adjusting the control, there's not anything else you can do. Try Chemical Guys. They have some great soaps @ great prices and are highly concentrated.:dblthumb2:

Going try Meg concentrated soap tomorrow. Will let you guys know how it comes out.

The foam can be much more robust... Maybe it is in relation to your pressure washer specs... Check out my foam density.. This was a mild soap ratio

It says it has 1550 psi.. How much psi does your power washer have? What soap were you using?

What brand is your PW? brands such as karcher and other consumer PW over rate their psi much like car audio amps from no name brands (think generic brand ratings vs JL ratings). My PW is the camspray 1500a which is rated at 1450 psi but I can honestly say it is more effective than my previous (supposed) 1750psi
Karcher. Also be aware that GPM is just as important (if not more) than psi.

I have the Kracher 2.28 1550 psi. When I use it to power wash my car. It does a great job, very powerful. I hope its not the power washer and maybe the soap.

I have the same PW. It will perform well with the right soap.

you need to adjust the knob on top to + ... something isn't right here
i have meg soap as well, it foams just fine.. i have rain X in the video below. and i do a 1/5 mix to that foam canon bottle, this is my result:

So, how much soap did you put in there compared to water?

It's a big bottle so I'd say you'll need quite a bit of soap if you fill it to the top with water. Also, did you turn every thing to the extreme end of their adjustments just to make sure it wasn't turned down or only stuck around the halfway point?

Gold Class is known as a high lubricity soap, not a high suds soap, if you want a lot of suds, get the DP Xtreme Foam Formula Auto Shampoo

From this page

When blasted through a foam gun, DP Xtreme is at its best because it’s the only car shampoo formulated for foam guns. The high soap to water ratio produced by a foam gun allows this intense shampoo to produce FROTHY FOAM unlike any shampoo you’ve used before. The high viscosity of DP Xtreme allows the suds to cling to the vehicle in order to begin grabbing dirt and oil on contact. With the help of a soft, clean sponge or mitt, you’ll achieve an Xtreme clean with this super-sudsing car wash.

A lot of soaps can clean, but they can’t leave the kind of shiny, smooth finish created by DP Xtreme Foam Formula. DP’s proprietary cleaning agent builds thick, multi-tiered bubbles that work to lift dirt and grime off the surface of the vehicle. Though it contains effective cleaning agents, DP Xtreme is pH-balanced to retain the existing paint protection. Unlike harsh “commercial” car washes that strip wax, DP Xtreme leaves waxes and sealants intact while removing the dirt and debris that hide your vehicle’s shine.

Does wearing a white dress help with the foam?

LOL

Well I switched up to Hyper wash and the foam sticks to the car a lot better. I also added APC+ which seems to help the foaming.
