foam gun alternative

Anybody use a lawn/weed sprayer instead? Something like Ortho® Dial 'N Spray® Multi-Use Hose-End Sprayer is about $10. If so, what concentration do you set the dial to? Thanks.

I dont want to foam a car every day, maybe every two months.

I used a lawn fertilizer sprayer (3 oz of Megs soap). It worked fine but ended up ordering the AG foam gun and quick disconnects when they had a sale and free shipping promotion going. I figured eventually the plastic would plug up. In addition, the dilution ratio changes while you are applying the foam with the plastic sprayers.
