Foam Gun. Do I really need one?

As others have said, it's great for pre-soaking and loosening dirt. It's also nice when your car is just dusty or covered in pollen but otherwise mostly clean. You can just hit it with the foam gun, rinse, and dry.

I do have a black car and it makes me feel like I'm helping avoid some marring by doing a pre-soak first before rinsing and then washing with the two bucket method.

I just ordered one so i hope i love it as much as everyone else doesIm the MAN

though many will use it mainly as a pre-soak, it can also eliminate one bucket and can be used while washing. i personally love my foam gun, though it may not be for everyone just like anything else these days...

Has anybody tried the Foamer at Griot's Garage?

It appears to a one setting foamer, but for the price, it may be ideal for the guy who just likes to play with foam.

I still don't own one, but I don't let my cars get dirty.

I love mine. I really like it when there is salt or dust on my truck. I run two hose's and can soap a panel before washing it with my two bucket method. If really dirty I presoak the whole truck and then rinse
it and then do the by the panel wash with the soapgun. It definitely keeps marring to the minimum.
