Foam gun not foaming anymore

There will be others with a similar question who will find this thread. Not all of them will have the same model as the OP

I thought my comment added information to the thread that some might find helpful

What you added was information about a model that is constructed differently. I am not aware of this model and am unable to find any info on it. So if in fact it does not exist, what you have done is added erroneous and confusing content to the thread, which will not be "helpful" to future readers.

If you have information on this model, please include it in the thread so I and future readers can be educated about it.

Make sure the soap draw tube is in place. It needs to be a snug (Air tight) fit and not have any cracks or breaks in it. Also if it has a filter at the end of it, make sure it is not clogged.

Yes, I am going to soak the unit in vinegar tonight. Hopefully that cleans out the innards

I thought my last post was conciliatory, but oh well

Soak you thumb in Vinegar....it will help you stop sucking it

These are helpful points, some soaps are not bio-stable in diluted form and can grow some gook in the cup which clogs the filter at the end of the draw tube. It sounded like the OP had checked for both of these things, though.

UPDATE: Ok, went home and inspected gun some more. Mine is missing the top screw. I'll be honest, I don't recall it ever being there but it must have been because once I plugged it up with my finger soap started to come out. Take my finger off and all just water.

So there you go. Now the big question is where to get a replacement screw? Or tape is fine also.

I don't however have the screw on side lever.

Scroll up I gave you the screw size. Get the shortest screw you can from Home Depot, one with a big head, might want to get some plastic or rubber washers if they have them which will help retain/seal the screw.

Those are probably short enough, but if not put one of these under it:

What's the point of the hole if it always has to be sealed

What's the point of the hole if it always has to be sealed

It's part of the mfg. process so they don't have to drill a blind hole.

EDIT: They probably also do it that way so you can rod it out from the top if it gets clogged, which is kind of useless because by the time that happens the plug will probably be frozen in there.
