Foam Gun question

Instructions are not real clear. Do you just fill the cup with soap and then use the adjustments on the gun part to get your desired foaming action? Lol I picked up a gun off amazon and got the chemical guys honey dew soap from here.

If you have the quart bottle, try four ounces of Honeydew. Fill the remainder with hot water.
 
What type of foam cannon did you get?
