Foam gun vs Foam Cannon

I have the foam gun and like it, however I really wanted the foam cannon but did not see the value at $120, but now that the its on the cyberbuster deal, I want it! My question is; is it really better than the foam gun? what does it do that the gun won't (other than thicker foam), really interested to hear from those who have experience using them both.

I am pretty sure the foam guns work with pressure washers that is why they have so much foam vs the cannon just hooks up to a hose.

Gun = hose = runnier soap solution ***** cannon = PSI washer = stickier denser foam solution
