Which better/safest for applying waxes to a car without marring/scratching issues?

foam is my pick. I've had MF applicators cause marring. Granted they were cheapos but nonetheless, my supply of MF applicators are now used for applying trim dressing, interior dressing, tire shine etc.

I'm sure with a quality MF applicator, there could be some argument that they have better cleaning ability if you were using an AIO/cleaner wax.

Thanks. Im using it primarily for sealant application.

Check the particular product you are using for recomendations. In general go with the microfiber applicator for sealants. For Ultima they specifically state this.

I've only used Microfiber once, and it was for 3M Performance finish which is a sealant...and i found it to want to grab on to the paint more. When i apply wax with foam it just glides effortlessly. Microfiber is like trying to slide across a hardwood floor in a new pair of Nikes to me.....Could be crap MF though....I try again sometime...:dblthumb2:

Try some of these

P21S Foam Wax Applicators

Once you try them, you'll never go back. For applying a paste wax they're the best!

stupid question.

I got a 6 pack of pinnicle foam applicators, with teh pinnicle name on one side, nothing on the other.

can i use both sides, or just the one side?

this is the only pic i could find:

I have the same applicators, personally I have never used the side with the LOGO. Solely for the reason that I can feel the printing with my finger, not sure if it's OK to use or not but I don't trust it just for good measure.
