Foam pads in the dryer?

i would just attach them to your d.a. and spin them dry personally.

I put them on the polisher and spin, but you can put them in dryer. Just put them to air dry and they will be fine, low head can also work if needed.

I always wring mine by rolling them from one end to the other. Don't scrunch it up in your hand. Then either lay them on a rack or spin them dry on your machine, and set em on a rack. Careful with spinning them on the polisher. After a while the velcro loses some of it's grab and that sucker will fly right off.

Be careful about putting them into the dryer. I threw a few LC flat pads in the dryer on low for the heck of it and my pads shrunk by 1/4". I now have four 6.25" pads. Haha.

Can you put the regular hand wax foam pads in the washer with the microfibers? I wouldn't put them in the dryer

Applicators? Yes
DA pads? No
You can put them in the washer. Just lay them flat velcro side up to dry.

I've heard some people have issues with the adhesive between the pad and velcro getting too hot and coming apart. Maybe they were wrong about the cause, but who knows. I'd rather play it safe and not waste money or damage a car. I guess a low heat wouldn't hurt. Just keep it low.

I wouldn't put them in the dryer, period. Just throw them on your buffer and spin dry them. If that that doesn't satisfiy, take a clean cotton terry towel and wrap the pad in it then press as hard yo ucan all over the pad.

Try it three more times and you'll have the perfect size pads (5.5").:dblthumb2:

Haha.. Maybe if I was using a DA but I use the rotary almost exclusively and 6.5" or 6.25" is the perfect size for me. :buffing:
