Foam washmitts and Foam pads

Can these be put in a washing machine and dryer using laundry detergent or microfiber detergent?
 
I wouldnt trust the pads in the washer and dryer. I would be worried about the velcro backings delaminating. APC and wash em out.
 
I've heard several people putting LC pads in the washer or dryer, but you always take that chance. It's up to you :props:
 
YMMV, but I'm washing about 6 CCS and HT pads used in today's detail and a bucket full of MF's right now. I find it takes 2-3 washings with APC then unscented regular detergent for them to come clean.

Then the pads get rolled into a thick terry towel to squeeze out the remaining water, and air dry.
 
Invest in a pad cleaner?
I use the xmt pad cleaner then put them on the polisher and run it for a few seconds to get rid of the excess water
 
I wash my waffle pads all the time now...... and tumble dry or toss them on the Makita and slowly turn it up to 5 or 6 - if you turn it up instantly your pad will sling off the machine - Im guessing the water weight throws it off. I use Arm and Hammer with oxy clean detergent - works great.
