Do you add water to the foammaster after you put the soap into the bottle or is it just strait soap??

Water and soap, I thought I remembered some of the foaming soaps would give you a idea of how much to put in but I can't recall for sure. I usually use 2-4oz of soap and fill the rest with water. Try using different amounts of soap to see what you like.

I add two ounces of DP's Xtreme Foam Formula after I put in about eight ounces of water into the container.
However, instead of shaking the two together, I just swril this mixture around. Put the top on and fire away. I find that this is enough to do the Altima.

:iagree:i use the same formula as DaHen,it works great.i can usually do both of my vehicles with one mixture.

It depends on the soap. If the soap is thin, you can use it straight, but if it's thick it needs to be diluted so it will pull up the draw tube properly, otherwise you won't be getting the ratio you have it set at. And no, there is no hard and fast rule on this otherwise we'll all be here with viscometers. Just for example, Meg's Gold Class is a really thick shampoo that won't draw properly unless you water it down.

That little plastic deflector is for washing down the walls in the meat department at the supermarket.

Deflector - This piece can be used instead of the foam nozzle to deflect exiting water downward and into a wider path. This piece is best suited for spraying non-foaming cleaners over a broad area.

O, ok. Thanks for the info.

I'll give it a try. Now where did I put that darn thing? Last time I saw it, one of the kids was playing with it!!!! lol.

My foam cannon is the $29 special from Griot's. I used it first with Griot's shampoo, then tried it last week with DP's Xtreme Foam. Following their l:4 dilution ratio didn't give me the lubrication I wanted, so next time I'll use 1:3 soap-to-water.

The wash went fine, at 1:4. No complaints.
