Just purchased a bottle of Folex based on recommendations from this forum. Of course, I am going to test this first but I am wondering if anyone has ever experienced any ill effects from using Folex (bleaching, color fast, etc)? I am going to use it on my wife's Mercedes with black carpet and I just want to make super sure it is safe. Thanks.

It only works on "color fast" material, as per the label.

If the dye used in the carpet comes out with water then its not color fast. I have yet to see a car that has color fast carpets, but you never know.
