When I purchased my 2008 Mustang GT convertible, it was a dealer demo with about 2000 miles on it. Closer inspection of the interior, I found under the passenger side,under the front floor mat,what seems to be some kind of stain on the carpet. Its like an old food stain or like a piece of gum. It's solid and stuck on the carpet. I do not want to go back to the dealer.I would rather take care of this myself and make sure its done right. What would be the best way for me to take care of this?

go to janitorial store they have spray to remove gum or vapor steamer

Try using some Ice to freeze it and then use a tiny hammer to break it apart.
