I saw this thread in another forum. It is not a competitor's forum as it has absolutely nothing to do with auto detailing so I am going to assume that I am in no way violating the rules by posting the link. To the mods, If I have violated the rules please accept my apologies and please remove the thread. I have just never seen anything quite like this ever. I have some HF tools and some are quite satisfactory for the level of mechanical work that I do. This thread is somewhat inspiring to a poor guy like me that's trying to work more into mechanics and do less and less detailing, and on a non existent tool budget at that.

I also frequent this forum. Generally, this typically goes against my typical Buy USA rant, but to be quite honest I have had all positive experiences with HF tools. I still think that if you are going to buy a tool that you will use daily, invest in a known quality tool. However, if you are going to only use a tool on an infrequent basis, than a cost effective HF tool is the ticket.

I've been stuck on that site for most of the evening. I thought there was a lot of stuff to read here. Man there's thousands of pages of threads over there too. I'm doomed.Im the MAN

I have a HF 1.5 ton low-pro jack for my car and that's about it. Everything else is craftsman or similar...not because I like to pay more, more so I usually find the items on sale below HF price.

I picked up 4, 4-Ton jack stands for cheaper than 4, 2-Ton jack stands at HF...even though my car weighs 3100lbs...I like the structure of the 4 Ton

I'm over on that site as well! "Dezigninmotion". I get way too many ideas from there...

I have never seen that type of HF collection before. That is amazing! It is surprising to see a mechanic that has all HF tools. It's always MAC or Snapon or Cornwell. Nice to see a mechanic that can keep his tool costs down and be highly organized.
 
That's quite a collection, and so neatly organized.
