Thats pretty funny.

On a more serious note. What do you guys think of turtle wax ? I see their stuff all the time at the local auto stores, but I think i've only used it once or twice when i was a teenager (and thusly didnt know what i was doing).

Is this another "mothers-esque" product that is secretly awesome stuff without being uber high priced ?

Hahaha, I love that show. I don't ever remember seeing that

There is nothing wrong with Turtle Wax products. The reason they don't get any love on the forums is due to the fact that sponsors can't sell their product because they can't compete with brick and mortar retailers. TW didn't become the industry leader by mistake or luck

Funny video OP. Dale Dribble is the best!!! :dblthumb2:

IMO, Turtle Wax is usually NOT the "go-to" in my cabinet. However, their Ice Synthetic Polish is able to hide paint imperfections such as minor scratches and front end pitting rather easily. I apply it to parts of my Mustang paint which have been effected by Connecticut winters, and the paint usually looks decent. I recommend you have some on hand.

Hey, that guy polishing that turtle reminds me of a certain overspray removal specialist...:D:bolt:

The video was a good laugh.

Like Flash says, TW didn't, and doesn't stay in business for having bad products, although I tried the black box stuff on my truck and wasn't impressed. I have and use TW liqid Ice on the lawn tractor, snow blower, and tool boxes, plastic and all, and actually like it for that.

I prefer products other than TW because I tried them and liked them.

I've always been a fan of King of the Hill, bit since I moved to Texas 4 years ago it just keeps getting funnier and funnier. To top it off I used to live in Garland, TX which is what Mike Judge loosely modeled Arlan.

I've used the synthetic Ice detailer and some of their spray wax products. They do ok. Generally where you can get TW you can get Mothers.
