FORD BRONCO RAPTOR.

That opens a video for the Maverick for me

Nevermind, second click worked.

Horsepower and capability wars are like never before...

It pains me to say this but why is GM on the sidelines here? I may not be into this stuff persay but get in the game and stop with Trax, Trailblazer and Blazer, the latter you should be ashamed of using that name

Manufacturers are going BIG before they have to go EV

The way production is going for the Bronco no one is getting this until the next century.

No doubt!

Josh got his build date of March 7th after waiting and waiting and waiting! The good thing to come from is that he was able to change the color from blue to THAT GREEN and it is a glorious G R E E N!

That looks great! Who’s is that one? I’m assuming not Josh’s since it’s not March yet.

I found out the hubby never canceled his Bronco order…
Placed July 28, 2020… still no build date :bash:

Well the new Hummer coming is going to be bonkers, like 1000hp or close to it. But it will also be bonkers in price and it will be an electric.... even though the electric vehicles are real performers, I'm still on the fence with electric.
And with the prices it makes the anti gas folks sound a bit delusional... "just go buy an electric, just go drop $100 grand on an electric"

My buddy and I were talking cars like we do everyday and the electric push reminds me of the vax push, think about it

The Hummer is something I don't even think about here, like comparing pennies and gold coins

I’m a big fan of electric cars but haven’t made the move yet. I can’t make myself switch from a perfectly good car and then pay $60,000+ on a new car but that’s me. But for my needs, driving about 60 miles a day when I go to the shop, an electric car I could charge at night would be great. But they aren’t for everyone. And there are definitely many situations where electric cars aren’t ready to take over.

On the flip side, I do think those that don’t want an electric because they take 1 or 2 long trips a year aren’t exactly thinking about it correctly. For once or twice a year, a rental car would likely be the better call. But ultimately electric cars will be adopted once people get more familiar with their capabilities AND limitations. It won’t happen over night, which is good because the infrastructure wouldn’t be able to handle that situation anyway.

Disagree. Until conservative companies like Toyota and Honda have electric vehicles, there won’t be any push. And most locations in the US don’t have any emissions testing so it will take a while before older gas-cars are no longer allowed on the road. A long time. So I don’t possibly see how this will be similar to the stupid vaccine mandates.

The Hummer is something I don't even think about here, like comparing pennies and gold coins

No kidding. But at least the wealthy are financing the new technology that may one day work it’s way down to reasonably priced vehicles.

I only mean the "push" comparison but I agree with what your sayin'

Well one’s save other’s lives and the other saves the planet. Most people don’t care about either so government is doing what they think is right.

Weather it is or it isn’t is for that other thread I stopped/don’t read as i don’t care to hear about what people think is right or not vaccine wise on Autogeek…

As for the Bronco Raptor it’s pretty sick. Definitely gonna be big dollar. 75–100k. Love to own one.

I don’t see electric as of now saving the planet…if only one could see how lithium is mined, it seems even worse for the environment. Until they find a better way of making batteries, these EV green tree huggers are actually making it worse. It will be interesting where all these dead batteries will go in 10 to 20 years as much if it cannot be recycled.

Well said but as you know those people are to be only judged on their intentions, not the results..."there's nothing to see here, move along...move along". I'd like to reiterate my post from earlier though, it's just the pushy push that I compared electric/stab to, nothing more, nothing less

Wonder if Bronco got their top issues worked out?
