Ford cars out

Kinda makes me sad the buying trends in the US have made Ford come to this decision.... it’s not like we all want to drive yank tanks.

I'm wondering what ripple effect this will have across the board? I thought I heard Chevy was going to kill the Impala... Wonder how long the Malibu and Cruze wll hang around. Just when Chevy came out with a Cruze Hatch.
Makes me think about the rest of the manufacturers to include BMW, Merc, Lexus, Infinity, etc...

I know when we travel I rent an SUV because most of the places we want to go up north in AZ may not have paved roads, AWD & 4WD is a nice option if needed. Not taking a Mustang across that... Plus the bigger SUV's provide a lot more comfort, can pack the dogs, lots of water, food, backpacks etc... Went to Sedona recently, rented a Infinity QX80. HUGE! Before that we got a Ford Expedition.
