Ford Excursion Extreme Makeover!

Last night the 1947 Plymouth Couple had a sudden schedule conflict so we used Eddy's Ford Excursion in its place.

We had 6 new guys all eager to learn how to machine polish and this Excursion was in dire need of an extreme makeover!

Re: Sign-up: 1947 Plymouth Coupe Streetrod - Show Car Makeover

Hey Mike Please Sign me up.

You're on the list!

Been trying to call the owenr Paul to see if he's planning on attending since it's raining outside but so far I have not been able to get a hold of him.

My guess is he'll be here. If not we'll buff out some lucky guys car tonight!

:D

You guys will be amazed...how it turned out...:)

Re: Sign-up: 1947 Plymouth Coupe Streetrod - Show Car Makeover

Last evening reminded me of the old adage, "When life hands you lemons - you make lemonade." The 1947 Plymouth coupe morphed into a behemoth in the form of a Ford Excursion. Mike took a "no show" dilemma and turned it into a valuable introduction to machine polishing for our new friends. There was more than enough surface to buff, especially for the guys working on the roof. Scaffolding would have been helpful. It was like medical students dissecting the cadaver of an elephant. But when all was said and done, Eddie (the owner) and Autogeek team were smiling and enjoying the results of another "fun" evening at the Show Car Garage. Mike's photos will speak for themselves.

The Excursion came out looking like new thanks to the team (veterans and new guests) and of course all the quality products and tools used.

Thanks again Mike and AG for the opportunity to practice our detailing skills on this LARGE SUV.

And thanks Eddie for trusting us with your vehicle :xyxthumbs:.

Another fun night.
Even that we didn't get to play with the car that was planned, it was still good to see all the people and hangout.
Car turned out pretty good.
See you all next time.
