And the culprit! Don't ever park under one of these trees!

It was about 95 degrees that day. Here I have a 12'x12' Quick Shade. They are kinda flimsy but do the job when you have a huge truck. Also my 3 step ladder and 10'x10' Easy up for my comfort at the bakc of my van/work area

it was so hot I used my customer water to cool down the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS. It made the hot day a lot more tolerable.

after washing only, I needed power to remove this crud

The right side was Nano skinned, the left you can still see the filth in the paint.

TA-DA!!! All clean, shiny and protected. and it's white again!

This shot shows the defects still left in the paint but I was only hired to Wash-N-Wax but at least it's white again and not brown

Wow, filthy is an understatement. How long was it sitting? That's some serious build-up.

Nice turn around for a wash&wax!

I'm not sure but at least a year or so. It wouldn't start and the battery wouldn't take a charge. I try to charge it for an hour.

Great job. My girl parked under a tree and got some stuff identical to that on it. After washing it, the crud was still there. I tried claying and that wasn't working that well, so I sprayed the whole car in ironx and ran the clay over it, that did the trick.

Great turnaround, just curious how long did it take start to finish?
The white looks white again indeed. Thanks for posting and sharing.

Nice turn around for sure.

Question... In those after shots, you can see the swirls in the paint. How would you get those out? Some type of polish/corrector? Also, could an average joe car owner get them out with hand only and no buffing tools?

Amazing!!!!
I'm sure there was a surcharge right? How much did you charge and what's your normal rate for a "regular" wash and wax on the same type vehicle?

Well thank you all for the Kudos, I try.

Yes I slept well that night.

Total man hours was around 9ish, with breaks and working "slow" due to the heat.

As far as fixing the swirls, a little of Meg's M205 or M105 would have taken care of that and another 3 or so hours. And yes on the "average Joe" could correct this with the proper tools.

No surcharge on this.
Dirt is dirt. To me the cleaning process isn't a problem. I can clean just about anything, and I have. So my clients don't get charged more they just get charged.
I actually discounted this due to it being a co-worker of my GF. But he tipped me to make the charge my full price so I was happy after the job too.

I would probably cringe if I ran a clay bar over that paint. I belt it felt like sandpaper.

Amazing job.

What did you think of the White Wax?

I have only used black wax, but white is on my shelf unopened.

Very nice wash & wax. That sounds ridiculous to say looking at the before and after shots. What a difference.
What is M38 and is that what you dressed the tires with?

Wow, great job. It cleaned up amazing, nice save.

HOLY CRAP! Hope the customer is now parking somewhere else, or ,maybe, he will get it done more often and make you rich? :) Great job, it's a wonder a bird wasn't stuck to that thing.

............

Older Meg's Tire & Trim Gel.
Yes I did the tires only because I knew this truck was going to sit. Normally I don't dress tires like this. But these needed protection from the elements and the rims got D156 Express Wax

What did you think of the White Wax......
Love it! Works great a $12 tube has done about 8 big vehicles like this one. It's a great consumer product. I only bought it to try it out. Once this tube is done I'll go back to M66.

Unfortunately it's right where I left it... :(

rolf about the bird being stuck to it! I would have been surprised.
