I had a customer bring this Mustang in for my StageIII detail package. Which includes a 2 Step paint correction and the choice of Opti-Coat Pro or Cquartz Finest. He decide with go with OCP. The car took a little over 27 hours to finish where I was happy with the results . The customers parents came to pick it up the car since the customer is still in school for the next month and won't be able to see it till he comes home. The wheels where also coated with OCP.

Mustangs are always beauiful thought pureshine you adds that extra special touch thats unlike no other,Excellent work on that ford

Good looking' paint! Shame the owner felt compelled to do the seriously over-done 'blackout' thing. Black car with black rims is alright, but I dislike de-badging or blacked-out badging. I love that big chrome logo on mine :)

Buuut that's me! Great work!

This is how to do it properly, congratulations on this gorgeous work.

Thanks for sharing, mate!

Kind Regards.

Way to bring that pony back to life, I cannot believe the swirls it had - excellent work!

How was the paint to work with ? I have a new 2014 and I feel like if I sneeze on it to hard, it will scratch cause the paint is so soft.

Sadler, We have a 2014 shelby and the clear coat does seem to be very soft. I went over the entire vehicle using the flex 3401 with 3m step 2 and step 3 and it looks amazing, but havent got the coating applied yet. Seemed to buff out fairly easy with the flex though... However 3m sh*t is so messy so looking for a machine polish that has less dusting, love the ultrafine though

The paint wasn't really soft at all very easy to work with.
