Mark i never tried the forever black on seals or rubber .I use it for the plastic black cladding that turns white. In the past with really stained rubber seals like the ones that go around the windshield i like to clean them with a tooth brush and some APC . After a good scrubbing I use 303 or some other trim restorer like the Poor Boys even used the Mothers brand products . I actually try what ever I have on hand and try test spots .
Since I don't have any teeth I have a lot of extra toothbrushes so I found some great uses for themAh ha! You were the one with the toothbrush tip! I think... Anyway I followed this tip with (Griots Rubber cleaner) and a toothbrush on window seals and over a period of months doing it each time I washed and they were eventually restored.
Assuming we are talking rubber (exterior window seal type)...
For protection: Dg 531 or UTTG (adpating the application and removal as needed)
Both require a good buffing after the proper wait time on most window seals.
lmao!!!!!!since i don't have any teeth i have a lot of extra toothbrushes so i found some great uses for them
