Forum email issue

hi - today i am randomly getting, in bunches, emails regarding replies to a thread that hasn't been active for a few weeks. this just started today. I had already received emails about these posts at the time the thread was live.
 
Been this way for months! Not sure why it can't be fixed but it's annoying.

now i am getting private message emails too, for old private messages. today is the first day i'm experiencing it. i'm about to blacklist autogeek in my email. i feel back for you guys if this has been happening for months because it is indeed really annoying.

Yeah, I just got the email for your reply this morning, 9/27. Over a month later! I'm turning off notifications. I can't understand why this hasn't been fixed.
 
Myself as well. Love the AG forum, but hard to believe no one has corrected this by now.

It seemed like they brought in an outside contractor to do the vB upgrade, and he couldn't figure it out in the time he was there.
