It looks like I may be getting a 07 black super duty. I know it's a pain to keep up but they look so good when they are clean. Curious what you all like on black paint? As of now I am not planning on using a coating. Always had white trucks but this one looks to be too good to pass up. Hope I don't regret it.

Pete’s 53! Made by CG, prior to putting a ceramic coating on my black sapphire metallic BMW, Pete’s 53 made black paint pop better than any other wax I ever used.

I used Menzerna PL topped with Polish Angel High Gloss on my black Mercedes. WOW! Next I'm going to try PA black specific wax and black specific spray wax.

Polish Angel Centurion or Famous Liquid wax. Polish Angel is hard to beat when it comes to wax on a black vehicle. For maintenance, I use their Black Wulfenite or Gold Zurkon spray wax. Right now I am using their Viking Spray and it's just as good.

You can get that product on AGO's (PBMG) sister site Autopia.

Guess it just depends. But blacklight works pretty well every month or so. It last longer than that usually but you get the fresh look if you apply more often.

Expectations, condition of paint, and amount of time allowed to care for it will dictate what product will be good for you

Heck black hole with black wax would be good by poorboys too

Ive got some PA Cosmic V2 and High Gloss spray to try out on my Vivid black road glide. The paint has zero metal flake and its as soft as pudding.

The easy, uncomplicated stuff, Wolfgang Deeep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0

A black super duty? your level of regret will depend on how extreme your OCD is lol. I vote Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant, four star paint sealant or Menzerna Powerlock for that black beast

The Wolfgang and Menzerna are probably good options, but I'd also recommend Collinite 845.

845 is inexpensive, very durable, and looks great. You apply it really thin, so the bottle should stretch a long way, even when applying it to a large truck. For even a better look, once 845 is applied, use Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax as a drying aid after each wash and it will look amazing.

+1...or Chemical Guys V07 Detailer. Meguiar's is a little darker on black and the V07 is a little slicker

I am a bit OCD. I shop here,I have to be! But these products make it easier to be such. I may try the Wolfgang 3.0 & 845 since I have them already. Maybe a 50/50 trial on one panel. Thanks for the suggestions.

Pressure washer . I know we're really talking about LSP's but the more contamination you remove = less swirls = better looking paint!

Its not a pain if you enjoy doing it. I look forward to doing my maintenance work every weekend.

do you know if the pa famous or black wax has a cleaning solvent in it to help with bonding?

Thats going to be nice let us know how it goes. I want to use those 2 products on mine after I try the Supernatural hybrid nano wax.

The PA famous wax is as a ceramic coating with white and yellow carnuaba flakes in it. Durability up to 12 months. The PA carnuaba arts Black Wulfenite is a spray wax not a cleaning ability as a qd. It has filler ability and up to 3 months longevity.

Collinite #915...apply thin and your all set! This isn't a sleeper product for those in the know
