Forum Member // Send Prayers

Man, I'm so sorry.
I have kids and would simply not know what to do.

You can bet they will all be in my prayers.

Thanks alot! It was quit a shock when I found out because no one in my family has had it before! So my son will have to get checked when he turns 17-18 years old. I'm just glad that I work for a good company(General Mills) that has REAL good insurance because it cost alot of money.
Thanks Ryan

Wow!
Thank you all.
I got back from Houston this morning. My Wife and Kids are staying in Houston until Sunday. I had to get back to work.

We had recieved his test results this afternoon.
Test went OK, Results are still sketchy....

All he had done was an MIBG scan to verify what the spot in question was.
The MIBG scan showed nothing. But they are dumb founded on what the spot is. They are also concerned about his lymph nodes now, which are enlarged.
They were also talking about his Bone Marrow.......
More tests are scheduled for Early March. If it is anything, it is still too early to really tell with the spot.
So now it is a waiting game. Don't we all just love those.......

So, all in all, the Docs said it IS NOT Neuroblastoma, the cancer that he previously had. But, it is something..............
We aren't out of the woods yet.......

Thanks everyone, for the thoughts and prayers. It means alot, and will in the near future when he has to go back. I am just hoping it is nothing....

NO child should have to go through that, and his wife just recently had a cancer scare as well. Sad :(
You are correct. My Wife had Cervical Cancer not too long ago. Luckily, it was caught extremely early. The only thing she needed was a hysterectomy. With 4 kids already, it wasn't a bad thing....lol
We did have some complications afterwards though...(Surgeons leaving things inside of her   )

Chris, thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sorry to hear of the bad news, you and your family have been through a lot. having two kids I can not imagine the pain and heartache you and your wife must be feeling. my family and I will say a prayer for your little trooper. keep in mind the doctors said Lance Armstrong was on his way out, he proved that against all odds Cancer can be beat.

When it rains, it pours, eh?

Hi Chris, I will be praying for your son also. I lost my son two weeks before his 17th birthday. He was sitting on the couch and keeled over dead. He was checked for everything and the doctors found nothing wrong with him. They said that this happens about 10 times a year in the world. No one can say how you feel, because everyone is different. My pain is different than someone else's. I will see him again. I will stand in front of God one day and he will explain why he took my son. It will be a glorious reason. One that I can't understand now while I'm still in the flesh. People who don't believe in God have nothing to look forward to, but I know that I will walk with my son again one day. God has spared me from two terrible motorcycle accidents and a 20 foot fall from a tree 4 months ago. I don't know what His plan is for me, but I love Him and trust Him. Please let Kobe know that Jesus Christ died so he could live. Your friend. Harleyboy
