Forza 4 group

Hey all,

Just wondered if anyone here has Forza 4. It came out today and of course I picked it up first thing! Right now I've got a pretty awesome 1997 M3 setup. Got it tuned to 476 hp right now as well as some others tweaks to assist in gaining some of the traction I lost with the power upgrades.

Anyway, if there's anyone else here that plays Forza (I have 2 and 3 as well) let me know and maybe we can start up a weekly meet to do some races.

I'm holding out for MW3. I've already pre-ordered it. If I had the money I'd pick up Forza up.
 
So as I just found out you can apparently start your own car club in Forza. If anyone is interested let me know!

That's too bad. Forza 4 is pretty awesome. I also pre-ordered Battlefield 3 today. Not sure if I'll be picking up MW3. I feel like each Modern Warfare is just the same game with different maps.

Yep, it's just nice to get the new one because too many people mod the older ones.

Good point. If I try to play MW2 today I'll usually end up in a game with some crazy hacks like super speed or something. Takes the fun out of the game for those who play casually. I don't have enough time these days to play games religiously like I used to. haha

i wont have mine for another week but id be happy to join an autogeek club (if affiliation with more than one club is allowed)

as i understand it, say you me and another person are in a club. i have a monster ZR1 and yiu have the beastly M3. im tapped out of funds and need a bmw for an event. i can literally borrow yours even if you arent online. likewise you can borrow my ZR1 and the third person can borrow either of our cars and we can borrow his. theres no gifting or selling required like before.
 
Ill probably wait till its in the 20 dollar price range.

I loved the original forza and gt4. Forza 2 was okay and I didnt care for forza 3 at all. GT5 sucks major butt. Not sure what it is, they just seem stale now.

They need(if they havnt with forza 4) is make the play style and driving similar to NFS Shift. Now THAT is a fun game. Feels like I am always on the edge, about to go out of control with the scenery flying by with the in cockpit camera shake.
 
Just got mine today and love it so far! This is my first foray into gaming systems/games and I literally had to tear the controller from my own hand to check my online forums! (I'm updating now with disc #2)
 
that cockpit shake is ridiculous. the forza series and gran turismo series and simulators meaning they strive to be as accurate to real life as possible. in real life your vision doesnt blur and your head doesnt shake as if its about to blow a seal. in real life, your fine tuned race car doesnt vibrate the panels off

real life isnt a fast and furious movie. need for speed shift may be more fun for most, but its in a totally different class...

Well said! That's why I love Forza. It's about as close as I'll ever get to driving any of the numerous exotics they have available.

I've been meaning to grab this, but time keeps getting in the way. MW3 is out? I just saw GofW too...wow. Regardless, keep us updated and I'll join up when I grab a copy.
 
I just picked it up yesterday, I havent had much time to play(exams always get in the way of having fun) although I've raced some in world tour. Having a weekly race would be awesome.
 
My 360 version of Forza 4 will be arriving tomorrow...and I have a new gaming PC on the way just in time for BF3's release. Time to kiss my social life goodbye :righton: :laughing:
 
That reminds me, I haven't logged into Xbox Live in so long...I'm not even sure if my subscription is still active. But if anyone wants to add me to play Forza 4 or whatever else, my username is z0bro.
 
mine is crunkatron, i am still playing FM3. please blow all your leftover cash on my koolaid man, at&t logo or NC State Highway patrol car.

i had FM4 preordered, had the cash in hand, was gonna finish my soda and walk across and pick it up, then i logged into our employee incentive site and saw that they will be offering FM4 LCE for points plus cash. The one i had preordered was standard, so as bad as i want it ill be waiting and i walked over and cancelled my preorder yesterday
 
Picked up my copy last night but haven't had time to play yet. AG car club sounds like a good idea. I'm in.
