I finally finished polishing my car today, lasted til 8:30 tonight. I was going to apply UPP sealant tomorrow but can't really find info on process. Only thing I found was to add a thin layer with a foam pad then let it set for 30 minutes then wipe off. Is this correct, I do need to wait the 30 minutes or is this a WOWO product?

Thanks,
Howard

well usually with sealants , the way is to leave it to "set" for 20-30 mins. then do a swipe test to see if it is ready to be removed.

with my upp process, I spread the whole car quickly with my red pad, then proceed to clean and dress my wheels.

I'm done , which is about 30 mins for all 4 wheels (multispokes take ages) .

give it some time to set or start curing, usually about 15 minutes max.

I apply by hand with a red pad and by the time I get around to where i started applying, i can usually start removing it.

I believe that it says on the bottle of UPP to wait at least 30 minutes for the sealant to cure before remove. It's always a good idea to follow directions on the bottle, they are there for a reason. I have left UPP on for 30, 45, 60 minutes and haven't had any issues removing, granted you do a thin layer.

I would say 30 minutes is offered based upon an ideal climate, some will cure faster and others longer depending on heat/humidity/coolness.
