I recently picked up some Four Star UPP sealant (polycharged version) since I wanted to compare it to the older version. I have always been a fan of UPP. It was one one of the first sealants I started using years ago after Klasse SG. It is probably one of the slickest sealants I have used. It is so easy to remove and put on. Durability is pretty decent.

I have tried Polycharging the older version with great success and thought it was time to try the new version with the Polycharger already added. I applied it with a blue Sonus pad via PC and let it cure for about 30 mins. Removal was outstanding. I swear I could have blow it off the surface. The sealant is such a pleasure to work with and looks awesome.

I love revisting old products that you forget about. Granted UPP is not the sealant flavor of the month like BFWD or Menzerna Power Lock but it still can hold it's own :rockon

Awesome Pat! I've been wanting to try this forever I'm a huge PFC fan. After the whole Ultima line I've been wanting to use a few more from the Four Star line. My friend Heath sent me a sample last week and. Can't wait to use it. Maybe I should do a review since it's forgotten. My hope (and expectation) is it gives me the look of BFWD with the ease of mpl.

Hey Pat,

I picked up a couple of these and have been looking forward to trying it. I'm glad to hear you gave it a test drive and are very pleased with the product and its application and removal...

Thanks again for posting Pat! :props:

I use UPP about once a week these days on clients vehicles. I really like it as well.

The durability is wonderful and it would be hard to find a product that leaves the finish feeling slicker.

One of my favorite,s.

I just got a sample of UPP from a friend, and I feel like it acts and looks very similar to BFWD. I'm not implying that they are the same, but they remind me of eachother. Both have great durability, are super easy to apply/remove, and leave a super slick finish.

I love me some UPP. I have only used the old, non-polycharged version so I am very interested in your review/thoughts of the latest revision.

A sealant with unreal slickness and a carnauba-like glow...

Use to be my far away fav choice for silver cars, especially those with metalic flake. Been wondering about it lately....

thanks for the heads up on the product. sounds like a dream to work with.

Not sure why it hardly gets any mention any more. My car is currently wearing it and has been for the last 2 reapplication. I don't feel it is as slick as the original formula but still as uber easy to apply/remove.

four star is awsome here is a pic of my silver ride with fourstar topped with pinnacle carnuba ss2

Killr's all time favorite sealant.

:iagree::iagree:

I love the product back since around 2002. Ive watched the label change, and polycharger added. In blind tests I suspect many more would find it appealing against most all sealants. I even have some suggest its a ringer for Z5Pro/Z8 only slicker. Not as durable as say Zaino, but darn easy to apply and buff whenever in the mood.
