Four Star UPP - Updated

UPGP is a wowo product. UPP is not.
UPGP seems to be much more durable than the UPP I have used.
I don't beleive UPGP is a wowo product. It's a wowa product because it needs up to 12 hrs to cure. This came from David B on Autopia.

Not sure how it is different in application from CS or OS. I use all three the same way. Ultima does sometimes leave residue from over application but usually it just disappears in a few minutes.

Do you know if 4*UPP is the same product as UPGP? People are saying that UPGP leaves a better gloss than UPP or OS. What's your opinion?

sounds like the new UPP needs to be tested on a hood against UPGP. unfortunately i only have the original version of UPP.
I like the fact that I can apply wipe on walk away products so quickly. It leaves more time for polishing, etc.

How does the original UPP hold up against OS?

Not sure. There is another test to do. Anyone have a dozen hoods they could loan to me for a few months?
I like UPP for the slickness and OS for the ease of use (especially after PS). I tend to use OS on wheels and quick detail jobs.
I will hv to dust off the UPP and PC it.

The company that owns Autopia bought Four Star about a year and a half or two years ago ... the same time 4* disappeared from AG and other vendors. Once they (Autopia people) bought 4*, they began making the Ultima line of products adding that line to the existing 4* Ultimate and Professional detailing lines.
Wow I had no clue all this happened, thats for that info

The UPP w/ or w/out polycharger is a typical sealant by all means. Apply, dry, buff and allow to cure. There spray sealant really could be considered a wipe on and walk away product as it really leaves no streaking or buffing when used properly. Its durability is NOT on par with the sealant however. I feel slickness and gloss are quite similar.
