Ultimate Paint Sealant how long does it last now that its polycharged? If I use the Four Stars Paint Cleanser then UPP next week put one coat of UPP then use there wash would I get three good months out of it.

I am going to use that or Collinite 915 with something like Meguiars #9 underneath it.

I seems that I should get three months out of it.

The UPP I have read is easy to apply/remove.

I do two coats and get about 2-4 months depending on the environment. I use the Spray Wax or Zaino's Spray Sealant on it to add longer durability. I once tried to Optiseal but got to much streaking as I would love to lock in the look/feel longer.

Killr, I too have tried many products to keep the slickness of UPP or UPGP and found Z8 and Z6 to be the best. Look into Blackfire Wet Diamond.

Much appreciated info.

Blackfire or Wolfgang might be the way to go. :xyxthumbs:

I just picked some up using the awesome M.P. 20% off. Looking forward to using it. I would be very excited to get 3 months of protection from it.

I'm going to clay, then use some XMT360/Green Pad. I'll top it off with the 4* UPP/Blue Pad.

Killr - how long do you recommend that I wait between UPP coats?

I have seen no appreciable difference in loss of durability after 4-5 hours. Of couse 8-24 is usually suggested.

Getting three months out of UPP is pretty good most will rewax or really reseal by then anyway exept for using a Collinite wgich may redo every four or five months.

and UPP is so easy to apply/remove and self cleans so well.

It literally is less than 15 minutes on and off on a Vette .... took me a bit more on the Saturn.

I really want to try some UPP sealant. I have read so many good things about it.

I have 4 star upp and love it I detail my kids cars and they judge my work by the way their hand slides on the paint This stuff is very slick
and looks and last

What do you think the Opti-Seal streaks were from? Too much product?

I am about to use that stuff.......by the looks of it, they want you to barely use any, right?? Looks remarkably simple.

See ya

Optiseal should be used as lightly as possible, think 1 spray per every other panel. Its easier to buff off the streaks versus Ultima when dried however.
