Free Coating Sample (CQUK & OC2.0) for New Users

WOW! Super generous thing of you to do! I've never tried a coating but would absolutely love to try CQUK (but not opposed to opti-coat;)). I would also love to do a show n shine or whatever else you would want me to do! I should mention that I have a lease that I could put it on but it will be ending in December. So I could do it on the current car or wait till the next car, where I could do more of a durability test. I also have access to a 99 Corolla in black metallic that gets driven quite a bit and could use some TLC. Thanks again Zach for letting a few people get a chance to finally try the LSP's of the future.

Should mention that I have looked at coatings a lot but its hard to justify that kinda cost when I just started college and I have no sort of employment other then detailing a few cars here and there.

Never tried a coating...really on the fence. Would love to! Thanks for the opportunity.

Hey Zach, I've never tried coatings either (giggle, giggle). I would love to try your collection (GIGGLE, GIGGLE!!!). I promise to use the Zach method and take fantastic pictures just like you (PUAAHHHH!!!!)

Ok that was silly!!!! I've done plenty coatings, and you guys know that. I just wanted to highjack your thread to say that you are a very generous man!!, and very inspiring.

Great way of giving back! I may have to follow your example. If your OC2.0 does not end up with Bob, I would love to send him mine (I think I have 10cc left over). I've enjoyed Bob's sympathetic pleas to get an answer to the conundrum regarding the full cure time (without a clear answer) that I would love to send it to him and see his impressions and results. We seem to be sharing the same love for things scientific and in such I know he would give his all to bring about an unbiased testing process. (offer pending evaluation of the product to make sure it did not crystallize in the last 2 months I haven't touched it)

I completely agree! We need to pull Bob to the dark side of LSP's! Lol!

I would love to try a coating. Just recently moved to a house without a garage and winter is coming. Never used a coating before and am too broke to buy any.

Hey hey Bob.... send me the watch and ill send you the coating:xyxthumbs: (I'm a huge watch fan)

Since it is Zach's thread, I'll let him call the shots but my offer does stand if he does not have his OC coming to you. I checked it this evening and it is good to go. I'll bring it to the office, just in case!

Ill play. I havent tried either of these and my wifes DD is in need of its end of summer clean up. She puts a ton of miles on it and i would love to see how either of these coatings apply and stand up to the daily rigors of driving.

That is a VERY generous offer! I've been on the fence regarding OC 2.0, mostly because of the expense. But if I can apply a coating that needs minimal maintenance, then I'm all in.

Washing and waxing during the Spring, Summer and Autumn months are not too bad. But my old bones complain every time Winter rolls around. I just can't handle detailing my car on days where the highs are in the upper 30's to low 40's. And it's windy. LOL

Of course I'm planning on doing the full decon steps: wash, Iron X, claying, polishing, etc.:xyxthumbs:

If I'm the lucky person to receive a sample, it'll be odd to NOT put on a wax/sealant as my LSP. But hey, when it's cold out, and your toes, ears and fingers are about to fall off, then one really appreciates a permanent paint coating like OC 2.0!

Very generous offer Zach !!! I have not really been bitten by the coating bug yet other than trying out some of the Pinnacle Black Label.

I would love to try out some CQUK. I have heard nothing but great things about it.

2 PM's have been sent. Thanks for all of the interest guys... for those of you that are on the fence, feel free to PM me if you're still interested in trying a coating and I may be able to help you out too.

10cc of very rare OC2.0 on its way to Angus... didn't know this would be a "collector's item" when I originally decided to give it away

I've also included CarPro Applicator Blocks and 4x4 suede applicator cloths with each of them :)

Enjoy guys! Please uphold your end of the deal and share a detailed Show N Shine thread documenting your experiences with the products, and keep us up to date overtime.

There is a nice dark blue car patiently waiting to get some love and a good coating before the new england winter coming up!

I've got about 16 cc's left. Doesn't make a good collectors item since it won't be any good in about 6 more months lol

I have used Cquartz and dont plan on ever going back to traditional waxes or sealants anymore
