Free Lamborghini Detail

i am not into free details , i value my service , discounts sounds better than free.
plus an lamborghini with it`s shape you ask for trouble and time consuming.....

I don't detail only for money, sure , thats how I make my living but I really love what I do.
Normally don't do anything free but I'm now in a position where I can afford to do "One"
The curves of the car is what excites me. :)

I'm not real religious but I have experienced this and know it to be true.

When you give, you get more than you can imagine. Being unselfish is very freeing. The saying is often mis-quoted... "THE LOVE of money is the root of all evil" Im not saying give everything away free but trust me when you help someone out it helps you too.

Is there a Cars and Coffee in your area? That might be a great way to make a connection with the owner of an exotic car.

I never see exotics daily, but at our Cars and Coffee the Lambo's, Ferrari's, Lotus, Aston Martin, Lotus, and the uber Porche's (GT3's, Turbo's etc.) are there in large numbers.

There are sooooo much potential pitfalls of doing free details!!

Congrats on the expansion Kevin. I do have a couple of ultra high end in my stable and know of a couple of leads in Lafayette (including a McLaren) but those local guys are pretty private and VERY educated on products and processes. If you look at my site, you won't see a single ultra high end because they just won't let me post them. They seriously don't want anyone to know who owns or where the car is. Our breed of ultra high end owners (in South Central Louisiana) is so different than in Houston or LA. We have a lot of Ferraris and Lambo, TONS of Porsches and Bentleys but those owners are not much into "showing off". BTW we do not currently have high end car meet and seriously don't see it happening soon. Maybe in New Orleans but then again....

BTW, I did approach Sharon Moss (friend of the family) and she could not care less. Met their shop manager at their high end location by the airport and it was a BUST!

Months back I spoke with Sharon.
A big waste of time.
They could care less how they're used cars look.

No man, not here in my area.

We have a cars-n-coffee about 90 minutes north of me. Not worth the trouble most often.

Hey Kev, what about wheeling over to Mobile and hit up a Casino? Bet they'll have one! :D

I agree with Claude though on how some don't want photos of their cars showing up. Although... if you didn't have a tag on it, who'd know? :dunno:

We did a 355 back in 2013 that was 1 of 1 (in that color/interior combo) and trust me, that guy didn't want any photos.

I could fly you know. Lol
I've always wanted to spend days on detailing a Lamborghini for years now.

Can't believe he's letting them wash it n full sun, yikes.

Thanks man, let's all kick some ass. :)

I worked on a Lambo Gallardo about 3 weeks ago. From what I learned is that the paint on a Lambo (at least on this car) was very hard paint. Harder than a MB or BMW!! But I posted in a previous thread but here is a pic.

BTW, way cool you are kickin but and so cool you want to work on a Lambo!! I did and now I want to work on a Rolls Royce Phantom.....soon I hope!!!! Have an awesome one!!

PS: Fly over and work on the guys Lambo in our parking lot!! LOL :props:

The Casinos we have in Louisiana are nowhere in traveling distance which would make sense, but would venture to say that the "disposable income" would better serve the patron's addiction to gambling rather than perfecting their car :dunno:

I did think of sneaking a couple of those pics into my portfolio, but the owner DOES know... and a single picture against their will may mean the lost of a valuable customer. In my little town there is 2 lambo, 2 masserati, 4 Bentleys, and all those guys know me and know one another.... and nobody knows 100% who owns those car or if they are local or not (except for 1 guy). My Lafayette connections are also VERY aware of social media marketing, and one actually commented and thanked me for not posting although in the same breath he stated that it would potentially attract more business to have a few ultra-high end in the portfolio

I totally agree that the lambo clear is ROCK HARD! and under the right light will show micromarring big time, so in quoting a lambo I would never agree to a 1 step. I always have a compound step because it is hard clear, and a refining polishing step. So Kevin, this is something to consider in your "Free Detail" you may actually have to do a 2 step to coat.... and may encounter a client who knows about coating and may require you to step up from a consumer grade to professional grade!?
